I offer one-to-one singing lessons for teenagers in Hale and Altrincham, tailored to each student’s interests, ability and ambitions. Whether you’re completely new to singing or already have some experience, lessons provide a supportive place to learn, experiment and learn the skills to reach your vocal potential!
My teaching approach is warm, patient and encouraging. I want every student to feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things and discovering what their voice can do.
What will you learn?
Lessons are shaped around you and the kind of singer you are, or want to become. We might work on:
Vocal technique: warm-ups, exercises and breathwork that help develop a healthy, natural singing voice.
ABRSM exam preparation: these exams can be a wonderful way to naturally progress over time, learning repertoire and musicianship skills along the way
Musicianship: Developing pitch, rhythm, listening and musical understanding.
Sight-reading: Learning how to read music and sing straight from the page, over time.
Performance confidence: Understand the character of the piece and finding the confidence to express yourself through singing.
Whether your goal is to audition for a show, prepare for exams, perform with confidence or simply enjoy singing, lessons will be adapted to help you make progress at your own pace.

Being a teenager can be a time of big changes, and that includes your voice. Lessons offer a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can develop your singing without pressure or judgement.
I believe learning to sing should be enjoyable, rewarding and personalised. My aim is to help each student become a confident, expressive singer who feels proud of their voice and progress.
